A big upgrade to one of your most painful workflows
Ask any broker or AM what the most frustrating part of benefits education is, and you’ll hear one word: imports.
Too many plan summaries. Too many PDFs. Too many hours cleaning up AI guesses that miss the mark. And for most teams, it’s still way too much manual data entry, especially from spreadsheets.
With this new release, we’re changing that.
What’s New in Smart Import (BETA)
We just dropped our new Smart Import, a major update to how you bring benefit data into Brite. If you’ve struggled with messy PDFs or felt like “smart import” wasn’t quite smart enough, this is for you.
Here’s what you’ll find:
We trained our importer to better recognize plan values inside Benefit Summaries and SBC PDFs. It picks up more data, more consistently, so you can stop manually copying over fields like deductibles, coinsurance, and max out-of-pocket.
Tip: Start with carrier-provided PDFs — you’ll see the biggest boost in accuracy here.
You’ll now see “AI Suggestion” pills inside the product form. Click to accept or adjust. Or skip them entirely and move faster — no more accepting one by one.
After uploading, you can now preview all detected plans, select the ones you want, and make corrections (like fixing plan names or types). No messy bulk imports. Just clean, usable data.
Instead of jumping between tabs to find what’s missing, the new Review Modal shows everything in one place:
This is the feature our own onboarding team is most excited about. It’s a huge leap forward in confidence, speed, and accuracy.
These improvements aren’t just nice to have — they’re time-saving, sanity-saving, season-saving. Whether you’re retyping from a spreadsheet or correcting dozens of plan fields by hand, this update gives you time back.
You’ll:
This is just the beginning. We’re working on:
